This system was designed to cope with several thousand faxes a day.
Faxes were submitted as text files which were placed in a queue. They
were then converted to fax images, with the appropriate fax header,
and placed back in the queue.
Converted faxes were taken from the queue according to priority rules
and sent on a number of phone lines.
Full transmission history reports were produced.
